Investment Performance

Auswide enables Pension members to directly access a menu of wholesale investment options. Your account balance at any time is made up of units in various investment options that fluctuate in value in accordance with market conditions.  The unit values are calculated by the Custodian and are generally updated on a daily basis.

You can update yourself on your account balance via Auswide.On.Line, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Unlike some funds in the market Auswide does not deduct its administration fees or charges from investment returns.

Unit prices from the various wholesale investment managers are not modified in any way before they are credited to your account.  Investment switching fees and non-investment related fees and charges are not deducted from investment returns or crediting rates; they are deducted from member account balances. For example, Government taxes on contributions, insurance premiums, administration fees, etc, are deducted from your account balance on a monthly basis, not from the earnings.
